FYP Exhibition Info

FINAL YEAR PROJECT EXHIBITION SEM JUL-NOV 2008

Participants involve in the exhibition are:

  • Computing students – CS220/223/224/225/226/230
  • Math students – CS227/228/229

A. IMPORTANT DATES

1. Project’s info by 10 Sept 2008.
    PC at Pej Akademik

2. Final exam – 29 Oct – 18 Nov 2008.

3. Date of presentation: 19 – 21 Nov 2008.
    From 8.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.

4. Due date of report submission (except Math stud – please refer your coordinator):

1st : 5 Nov 2008 (Wednesday), by 4 p.m.

  1. Resume
    Please prepare copies of resume. People from industries are also attending the exhibition.
     
  1. Registration
    Time    : 8.15 a.m.

    Venue  : Registration Counter
     
  1. Evaluation
    Refer at the registration counter for list of examiner and SIG on the day of exhibition.

    By 3.45 p.m. – 4 p.m., if your evaluator still not turns up, call/find them.

    Though the evaluation had finished at 2 p.m. for instance, you still have to wait till 4.30 p.m. since the exhibition will end at 4.30 p.m. NOT only evaluators will be attending the exhibition but also students, lecturers, people from industries, others.
     
  1. Exhibition
    Attire: Formal

    Display Board Size: 0.9 m X 1.2 m

    Not everyone will use the display board. Some will use wall. Refer to room allocation given – will publish soon.

    Those using walls at TH1 – TH4, please careful of cables inside the wall. Pins will be given to pin up posters.

    Those using cement walls, you will be provided with masking tape to pin up your poster.
  1. Poster & Pamphlet
    Poster - The faculty has agreed to sponsor the posters for the exhibition. The poster is A3 size and 2 pieces per person. The detail of the poster will be informed soon.
     

Pamphlet – The faculty will give 25 sheets of colored papers each person for pamphlet. Please collect from your coordinator.

    Breakfast and lunch will be provided for each participant.
