Additional event during FYP

1. UICCF (University-Industry Commercialization Collaboration Forum)
Best projects and has the potential to be commercialized will be presented on 20 Nov 2008.
This is collaboration between MDeC and UiTM.
This event is meant for Computing students only.

Date: 20 Nov 2008
Venue: DK2
Time: 9.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m.
Everyone is invited.

2. Recruitment Drive at UiTM
Everyone is encourage to attend this event.
Bring along your resume. Perhaps interview will be conducted at the end of the day.

Date: 21 Nov
Venue: TBA (To Be Announced)
Time: 10.00 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Schedule:
10 - 11 am         Career Talk & Q&A session

11 - 12.30 pm    Written Test (Aptitude test and English test all are multiple choices and no preparation is needed by the students)
12.30 - 1 pm      Marking the test sheet and announce results
1 - 2 pm            Lunch
2 - 5 pm            Interview sessions for those who passed the written test

  1. Evaluation
    Refer at the registration counter for list of examiner and SIG on the day of exhibition.

    By 3.45 p.m. – 4 p.m., if your evaluator still not turns up, call/find them.

    Though the evaluation had finished at 2 p.m. for instance, you still have to wait till 4.30 p.m. since the exhibition will end at 4.30 p.m. NOT only evaluators will be attending the exhibition but also students, lecturers, people from industries, others.

    Attire: Formal

    Display Board Size: 0.9 m X 1.2 m

    Not everyone will use the display board. Some will use wall. Refer to room allocation given – will publish soon.

    Those using walls at TH1 – TH4, please careful of cables inside the wall. Pins will be given to pin up posters.

    Those using cement walls, you will be provided with masking tape to pin up your poster.
  1. Poster & Pamphlet
    Poster - The faculty has agreed to sponsor the posters for the exhibition. The poster is A3 size and 2 pieces per person. The detail of the poster will be informed soon.
     

Pamphlet – The faculty will give 25 sheets of colored papers each person for pamphlet. Please collect from your coordinator.

responsible for providing application services (outsourcing arrangement) to BankMuamalat. one vacancy for a junior IT post. The main jobfunction is programming, mainly, in COBOL. those who are trained in anyprogramming language would be able to pick up COBOL at work. This has beenproven many times. Of course there is the learning curve that one has toovercome.

Degree in computer science.
Software Engineering or Programming major.
Programming skill in any languange.
RDBMS knowledge a plus.
Web development including PHP & Javascript, AJAX also a plus.
Immediate requirement. Based in Petaling Jaya. Some traveling required.

Fresh or recently graduated in Computer Studies or Telco/Computer/Elect Engineering.
